Nettle leaf extract contains high amounts of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that can help protect our scalp from damage and stimulate new hair growth. Nettle leaves are also rich in minerals like iron, magnesium, and zinc, which can all give our follicles a great boost.
Sage not only helps prevent hair loss, but it also rejuvenates and strengthens the hair follicles. The use of sage can also boost blood circulation in the scalp, increasing the supply of nutrients to the hair follicles.
Rosemary oil improves both hair thickness and hair growth, thanks to its ability to improve cellular generation. According to one study , rosemary oil performed as well as minoxidil, a common hair growth treatment, but with less scalp itching as a side effect.
Lavender also has antimicrobial properties. This means it helps prevent bacteria and fungi from growing. When applied to hair or scalp, this may prevent common hair or scalp issues. In particular, it may prevent itchy scalp or dandruff and even infections.
