Organic Skincare

Your skin is the largest living, breathing organ on your body, and over half of what you apply on your skin gets absorbed into your bloodstream, which then gets circulated your whole body. But if you knew what toxins non-organic skincare products contained, you would think twice before you use them. So it's no surprise to see more and more people switching to organic beauty every day. Be careful when choosing as often the word natural and organic are interchangeable but they do not mean the same. Unlike food, the beauty industry is not regulated to the same standards, an uncertified product can be described as ‘natural’ even if only 1% of its ingredients come from natural sources! The Soil Association and COSMOS are labels that offer assurance that a product has met strict organic or natural standards. Certification is the only proof that a product is truly organic.
